Dr. Wilson P. Heaton

Dr. Wilson P. Heaton is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with Midland Oral Surgery and Implant Centers. Dr. Heaton joined the group in 1978 originally partnered by Dr. Eugene Jaffe and Dr. Edward Kasper. Dr. Heaton is a member of the attending/teaching staff at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, in the department of surgery, division of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He also has surgical privileges at the Ingalls Same Day Surgery Center in Tinley Park, Illinois.

Dr. Heaton received a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University of Chicago in 1971 and graduated from Loyola Dental School, Maywood, Illinois, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1975. Dr. Heaton completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, in 1978. Dr. Heaton holds dental licenses in Illinois and Wisconsin and an Illinois specialist license in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Heaton has held the offices of secretary, treasurer, and was president of the Englewood Branch of the Chicago Dental Society, 1994-1995. He has been a delegate to the Illinois State Dental Society from 1995 through 1997.

Dr. Wilson P. Heaton was born in Sterling, Illinois where he lived and attended school until attending Loyola University in Chicago. He was married in 1977 to Marjorie and they have three sons, Kyle, a dentist, Chase, an otolaryngology resident and Alex, an interventional radiology resident. Dr. Heaton enjoys golf, traveling, the White Sox, the Bears and his grandson.
