Dr. Tom Sarna

Tom Sarna joined Midland OS in 2011. He attended high school at Wheaton St. Francis. He graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with degrees in Biochemistry and Spanish. Next, he graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry with a doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2006. The following year, he completed a hospital-based general practice residency at Loyola University Medical Center. This enlightening experience prompted him to return to his alma mater the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center to complete the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery speciality program. His surgical training included resident-level rotations in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Anesthesia, Trauma Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Medicine and General Surgery.
Dr. Sarna is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is board eligible by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He is a member of the IAOMS, ADA, ISDS, CDS, ISOMS and CSOMS.
He holds current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
Dr. Sarna currently resides in South Chicago with his wife Heidi Jane
and their young son Stone.
